Emily was born in Visalia, California. She grew up in Aurora, Colorado and has long loved the mountains. She received her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences form Texas A&M University, graduating with honors. She attended The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Emily completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at UCLA. In her free time, Emily enjoys mountain biking, skiing, cooking, and fine arts. She is also an avid traveler. Emily's primary areas of pediatric interest are newborn and adolecent care. She loves walking and running with her black lab, Riley.
